Welcome to the AITPKV!
Who are we?
Association of Information Technology Professionals, Kanawha Valley
Chapter, Inc. is a professional association comprised of career minded individuals who
seek to expand their potential -- employers, employees, managers, programmers, and many
others. The organization seeks to provide avenues for all their members to be teachers as
well as students and to make contacts with other members in the IS field, all in an effort
to become more marketable in rapidly changing, technological careers.
Throughout the Kanawha Valley of South Central West Virginia, our
Association provides contacts and insights into existing and developing areas of
information technology in our area. Headquartered in Charleston, West Virginia, we have
maintained close associations with Marshall University, West Virginia University Institute
of Technology and other institutions of higher learning as well as business and industrial
leaders in our region.

Our Mission
It is the mission of AITP to provide superior leadership and education
in Information Technology. AITP is dedicated to using the synergy of Information
Technology partnerships to provide education and benefits to our members and to working
with the industry to assist in the overall promotion and direction of Information
Technology.
Your Mission
We encourage all our members to spread the word. The local chapter of
AITP is here for the local IT Professional at all levels. Everyone is welcome at our
meetings, so grab a friend, a colleague, or even your boss and come on out and join in the
fray.
Tell us what you want in the way of programs.
